It centers on a family that attempts to loot an upscale furniture store, only to discover that armed thieves have already entered the shopping center.

With 231,053 admissions and an incredible N1.02 billion in gross earnings, A Tribe Called Judah, released nationally by Film One, broke the previous record theater ticket statistics of Sugar Rush and King when it opened for business on December 15, 2023.

Known as "the box office queen," Funke Akindele has made successful movies in the past, including "Omo Ghetto: The Saga," which brought in N636 million in 2020, and "Battle on Buka Street," which brought in N668 million in 2022.

The movie "Black Panther 2" from Hollywood previously held the billionnaira record, which is worth N1.04 billion. This is an incredible accomplishment for the Nigerian film industry.
